Broadleaf Enterprise 5.1.0-GA

This is the initial release for the Broadleaf Enterprise 5.1.x module. This module requires Broadleaf Framework 7.1.0-GA or greater.

Minor bugs(8)

  • Handled audit log requests safely when no audit data is present in report grids.
  • Some placeholder admin entity friendly names were not updated with proper human-readable labels which have now been fixed.
  • Updated sandbox-client.css to improve the readability of sandbox ribbon popups when dark sandbox theme colors are selected.
  • Due to the MariaDB driver restrictions, removed the use of batching in PreparedStatements when using Simple Workflow on MariaDB.
  • Use em.refresh instead of deepRefreshOrder for Orders in EnterpriseOrderDaoImp in order to optimized out-of-sync cached cart refreshes.
  • Due to the changes in Hibernate 7, the sandbox filter condition that was being sent to the database was ${tableName}. Updated BroadleafPersisterResolver to resolve name and set filter correctly.
  • Fixed the issue where updating timestamps were causing Number Format errors in the Oracle 19 database. Added getLatestValueAsString() method in SimpleChangeDetailDaoImpl.java for proper conversion.
  • Fixed the issue where badges for local changes, pending, override etc. were not showing on the Admin entity forms. Added @JsonProperty("properties") annotation for EntityStatus.getProperties() to expose the JSON through the getter so that the JAXB element name ("property") is not used as the JSON key when the Jakarta XML Bind Jackson module is registered.

  • Upgraded the BLC dependencies like Broadleaf Framework 7.1.x, Module Parent and other BLC modules.
  • Updated module to support baseline dependencies upgrade like Spring 7, Hibernate 7, Jackson 3, CommonsCollection 4 and other libraries.
  • Implemented BroadleafPersisterResolver, EnterpriseInsertCoordinator, and EnterpriseUpdateCoordinator for Hibernate 7 entity persister architecture.
  • Updated SandBoxClassTransformer and persistent collection types in WorkflowPersistentBag, WorkflowPersistentList, WorkflowPersistentMap and WorkflowPersistentSet for Hibernate 7.
  • Migrated domain entities from Hibernate's @GenericGenerator to Broadleaf's @BroadleafIdGenerator. Affected domain implementations include:
