MasterPass by MasterCard Module
Broadleaf Commerce currently offers integration with the MasterPass Digital Wallet Service offered by MasterCard.
MasterPass by MasterCard is a free digital wallet service that makes online shopping safe and easy by storing all of your
payment and shipping information in one convenient and secure place. With MasterPass, you simply shop, click and checkout faster online.
It is important to note that there are several integration methods that Masterpass supports.
This standalone Masterpass integration requires that the merchant maintain a PCI compliance level that allows sensitive data (e.g. Credit Card PAN)
be transmitted and stored through a PCI DSS compliant environment and infrastructure.
To understand the flow of how this module integrates with your Broadleaf application, please see our Flow Diagram
If you are interested in this module, please contact us at info@broadleafcommerce.com for more information.
In addition, we also provide services to work closely with your organization to facilitate integration of this module into the checkout flow of your Broadleaf implementation.
Instructions for Merchants:
- Merchants that have already obtained an access code from MasterCard will need to register and setup their account here: https://masterpass.com/SP/Merchant/Home. You will need to create a Merchant account, set shipping profile, rewards and advanced authentication
Once you've set up your account, there are two ways in which to integrate this module:
- If Broadleaf is providing professional services to help build your eCommerce implementation, we will work closely with your developers to successfully integrate this module into your Broadleaf application. To start this process, you will want to:
a) Add Broadleaf
as a Service Provider to be the Merchant Developer. You will need to invite the Broadleaf organization
to manage this integration. When asked to add a developer, you should choose "A third party platform provider".
Broadleaf
should appear in the dropdown.
b) Once you choose Broadleaf
as the service provider, an email will be sent to us to create API keys. We will create
a project and submit it for your approval. The merchant will need to log back in and approve those SANDBOX and PRODUCTION API keys.
- If your organization is building out the implementation without our help, you can follow the MasterPass Environment Setup and MasterPass Quick Start documents that outline the necessary parameters and configurations needed for your particular implementation.
